Afghan Music Archive does not host any videos. It shows videos from YouTube, through YouTube's own player, and only videos whose uploaders allow them to be shown on other sites. Every video stays on YouTube and is checked against YouTube regularly.
Removing a video from YouTube
Is your work on YouTube without your permission? Ask YouTube to remove it with its copyright removal request. When YouTube removes a video, it disappears from this site at the next daily check.
Do you not want your own videos shown on other sites? Turn off embedding for them in YouTube Studio. They then disappear from this site at the next check as well.
When we act ourselves
We take a video off this site ourselves only when it is clearly on YouTube without the rights holder's permission, or when a court orders it. Write to [email protected] with the link to the video on this site, who you are and how you relate to the work (for example the artist, their family or the label), and why the video is on YouTube without permission.
