Terms of use

What this site is

Afghan Music Archive is a searchable archive of Afghan music videos. We do not host any audio or video: every video plays through the official YouTube player and stays on YouTube. Titles, thumbnails and view counts come from the YouTube Data API.

When you watch videos here, the YouTube Terms of Service apply as well.

Your account

You must be 16 or older to create an account. A pseudonym is fine, and your email address is never shown.

You are responsible for what you post with your account. You can delete your account at any time on your account page.

Community rules

Comments, playlists and usernames must respect other people. Not allowed: hate speech or incitement against any ethnic, religious or other group; personal attacks, threats or harassment; sharing someone else's private information; spam and advertising; full song lyrics; anything illegal.

Disagreeing about music is welcome. Attacking people is not.

Moderation

Moderators can hide comments that break these rules. Accounts that break them seriously or repeatedly can be banned: a banned account can no longer vote, comment, report, suggest videos or share playlists. Moderation actions are logged.

Copyright

Are you an artist or rights holder with a question about a video on this site? See copyright. We answer within 14 days.

Changes and contact

We may change these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions: [email protected].
