Habib Qaderi “Ay Naam-e Ghamat” (Unplugged)

“Ay Naam-e Ghamat” is composed by the legendary Ahmad Wali jaan and he gifted this beautiful song to Ahmad Zahir jaan who’s sonorous voice filled an entire room even without a microphone. The reason why I loved singing this song was because two icons from our music industry worked together hand in hand to give life to this song. When I close my eyes and sing this song, I picture two legends sitting together, writing this song, rehearsing and preparing to deliver this masterpiece to an entire nation! Now that image puts a big smile on my face.
