Qais Ulfat - قیس الفت - Sogwari - Moqam E Kharabat | مقام خرابات – Live Ghazal Session

SOGWARI | سوگواری – Qais Ulfat “Sogwari” is a deeply emotional and timeless piece, carrying the beauty, sorrow, and depth of Afghan poetry and music. Beautifully composed by the legendary Farhad Darya, with profound lyrics written by the renowned Afghan poet Qahar Asi, this song brings together two extraordinary artistic legacies. The poetry speaks from the heart, while the melody gives every word a voice of its own. It is an honor for me to present my interpretation of this beautiful work with love and respect for its original creators and for the rich musical and poetic heritage of Afghanistan.
